We regret that only text of A Dream of Maya will be provided on-line.  The images reproduced in the book are excellent, and provide a solid basis for understanding the photographic and archaeological work of the Le Plongeons.

The 19th century photographs of Alice Dixon and Augustus Le Plongeon were copied and cataloged from four archives with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities by Lawrence G. Desmond in 1989.  Those copy prints, negatives, interpostives, copies of mural drawings from Chichen Itza, and other materials pertaining to the Le Plongeons' work in Yucatan and Belize can be viewed at the Center for Maya Research in North Carlolina.
