• Center for Maya Research.  The Center for Maya Research (CMR) is a not-for-profit educational organization founded by George Stuart in 1984. Its purposes are to promote research in the Maya area in the fields of anthropology art history, including archaeology, epigraphy, ethnohistory, ethnology, and linguistics.
