The Ballcourt at Yaxuná, here seen restored in 1998, was ritually terminated
by the hands of Chichén Itzá forces in the 10th Century C.E. Swinging our view
to the right we can see a truncated sculpture that was unearthed from a sweat bath
now completely submerged beneath an undocumented platform structure in the middle
of the plaza leading to the North Acropolis.
