The Cenote Lol Ha is the principal cenote (natural limestone well) of Yaxuna pueblo.
It's name means Flower Water. In the summer of 1998, with the help of the Mexican
National Conservation Corps, the town built an access to the interior of the cenote. Now
the visitor can descend into the cooler limestone-rimmed cenote, listen to the songbirds
that gather there, and watch the stillness of water to the depths of ancient Yucatan
