The Sacbé &
The Eastern Acropolis

The 100 kilometer long causeway(sacbe) from the city of Cobá traverses the front of this two-story Puuc Style Palace and ends at a small pyramid in the center of the ancient ruins. Behind the palace the high pyramid temples of the Eastern Acropolis stand over the great expansive plazas of the sacred precinct.
