The Road to Kankabzenot
The way out of town is the southern road to Kancabzenot and Yaxcabá. During the desperate fighting of the Caste War, the church of Yaxcabá changed hands several times. All the churches of this region were destroyed, one of the most beautiful is the ruined church at Mopilá, a short distance to the southwest from Yaxcabá.
